Ok, well, I haven't posted anything in over a year and I haven't updated my journal in who knows when. So here's an update: I've got tons of new work but it's primarily from my college classes--Yay for being an Art Major. But it's a little hectic being a senior and having to prepare for/work on a show. So school pretty much takes up all of my time so I haven't gotten around to scanning/photographing  and uploading any of it in a while. Maybe I'll get to that one of these days. As for my personal art, I'm pretty much bored of fanart and want to focus on my original characters/stories/designs/whatever. But since I spend so much time working o

You know, like that scene from Pink Floyd's "The Wall"? except instead of private school kids being grinded into meat to conform them to society, i feel like i'm being grinded to not conform---like i'm being pre-packaged to be some crazy, out of the box thinker, but not really--just to do stuff that is meaningless that can sell because of its complete lack of figure/form or something that is offensive or political just because that's what's expected of me. I mean, i get criticized for wanting to do illustration/graphic/sequential-type stuff because that's all "commercial" and "sell-out" and "kitsch" and whatever other negative terms these art
